She can photograph.
Apparently she can write, too.
I picked up a camera years ago. The writing part came later... somewhere between the chaos, the coffee, and the running voice-to-text notes I make when a thought will not leave me alone. Somehow, those ramblings turned into published articles in She Shoots Magazine. Wild...
These definitely were not written in some quiet, aesthetic office with a candle burning and everything perfectly in its place. They were figured out in real life—mid-chaos, mid-motherhood, mid "hold on, let me finish this thought before someone needs a snack." Which honestly tracks, because that is pretty much exactly how my photography has always worked too.
Somewhere between voice notes, chaos, and caffeine, apparently I became a published writer.
